Whether you are a member of the Bella Army or fan of The Princess of Staten Island, both parties will be happy to learn that we will see Nikki Bella and Carmella compete at No Mercy.
Their feud began at SummerSlam, when Nikki made her return after recovering from a possible career ending neck injury. Nikki successfully pinned and won the Six Women Tag Team match, which sparked undeniably fury within Carmella. Since then, Carmella has taken ever opportune moment made available to her to attack and taunt Nikki. It’s about time these two meet in the squared circle, one on one, to air out their aggression.
Which woman will come out victorious? Tune into No Mercy this Sunday at 8pm only on the WWE Network!
With the WWE Championship and Smackdown’s Women’s Championship matches already scheduled for No Mercy, another title match was set into place for Smackdown Live’s upcoming pay-per-view.
History repeated itself as The Usos met The American Alphas in the squared circle for an opportunity at the Tag Team titles. No smiles, handshakes, or respect were given by any member of each opposing team, as The American Alphas had a score to settle after their last encounter with The Usos. Although Gable did well for himself in the ring after sustaining a knee injury courtesy of the brotherly duo, Jimmy and Jey focused on inflicting pain on that knee. It worked and The Usos will once again face Heath Slater and Rhyno at No Mercy for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship.
I think it was too soon for Chad Gable to return to action. Shane McMahon had announced on Talking Smack shortly after Gable was injured that he would be out of action for 2-4 weeks. Two weeks has certainly passed since then, but after what the WWE Universe witnessed last night, Gable is not ready to compete. It’s too soon. He needs to take the full, necessary amount of time to fully recuperate and heal, then come after The Usos and the Tag Team Championship.
Stay tuned for more announcements on the No Mercy pay-per-view.
